Katriona studied at Leeds college of Art and Design and now works out of Leeds, or wherever her work takes her.  She is rarely seen without her camera and uses Nikon DSLR and SLR with Nikon lenses.

Katriona's primary focus in her photography is anything within nature and her growing fascination with the obscure is evident in her work.  Using macro photography she invites the viewer to explore and appreciate the inner beauty of small fragments of nature, a peeling poster, a simple petal, or real textures of erosion.

She has the ability to capture the purity of a sunrise over an untouched landscape, the energy within the first sign of spring or the abundance of colour that the autumn brings.
